I nodded. The air was always clear and sweet near the water. I closed my sketch book and placed my head in my palms, enjoying the breeze that was flowing.

Sky slipped off her shoes and stuck her toes into the water. Her brown hair gently flew around her shoulders. "Do you live near here?"

"Up in that little village up there." I pointed to the top of hill a distance away. "It's good exercise to come from there to here every day." I flipped my hair behind my shoulder as I spoke.

Sky nodded. She looked a little envious. "It must be cool, to live like that. It's so, rustic." She said. I wish life were that simple for me.

Sky sighed. "It all seems so simple. It's exactly what I used to what my life to be like." She brushed her hair out of her eyes. I would give a lot to just be a normal person. She thought.

"I thought everyone except royalty lived like this. Even those who run away live like a normal person. I'm used to living this way, I guess," I said simply, shrugging.

"Well, almost." Sky said. "Most people live in places like this. I just....move around alot. I don't like big cities." Her blue eyes were thoughtful. "Do you live by yourself?"

"Yeah, been living by myself or as long as I can remember. People usually come to check on me, but I just send them away. It's more peaceful without a bunch of people fussing over me," I said.

"Yeah, I tried to fly out across the water one time, but King Boron caught me. He wouldn't let me out of his sight a a week," I said bitterly. "But before he found me, I caught a glimpse of something or someone."

Sky was intrigued. "What was it?" She stared out at the water, trying to image seeing something on the horizon.

"It almost looked like a person, but they were half transformed. It was amazing." My eyes grew misty as I reflected on the thought.
