Lila flew over tree after tree. she saw the Mammal's territory fade under her claws one by one. She shouted over her shoulder to the Robin."Elsie we are about to reach Wind-A-Willow watch out for strong wind currents that gaurd the tree!!" With that she swayed to the side getting ready to dive into the castle.

Wind-a-Willow? What kind of a name is that? I made no response to Lila, I was too tired. My wings were getting heavier and I felt like I might drop out of the sky. I really wished I had eaten where we had rested. Now my stomach was whining from hunger. I thought about what one of the adults on the island might have been making, but quickly pushed the thought out of my head.

Lila reached the Tree main Entrance and landed on the brach and shouted"Maids can you get me and my guest some food? Perferribly human tonight..." With that all the birds starring started to move around five Cardinals brown and females transformed and nodded to their Queen. The all had bright read and brown hair. They all took off toward the cooker's room.

I was amazed that the people followed Lila's command so abruptly. She seemed like such a mean person, I would hate to have to take orders from her, but then I realized: THat was probably very likely exactly what I had to do.
My eyes widened at the command that Lil issued. "Um...you mean food that people eat right?" I figured that was what she had meant, but she seemed so eccentric...

Two of the five maids came back with two plates as quickly as they left. One plate was friend ham to other Chicken fried steak..... Lila handed Elsie the Hciecken fried steak with potatoes and gravy. She toke the fried hame with green beans and pies. She toke hre plate over to a dinning room in the center of the tree. It was pacted with lots of people and birds all rosting and eating. Lila didn't care at what Elsie did at this point.. SHe just sat down and started eating with a fork that was wrapped up in paper leaves and started to chow down slowly.

Lila handed me my food and left into a corwded dining room. I didn't know if I was supposed to follow her or not, but she didn't tell me to, so I didn't. I simply sat on the floor and dug into my chicken fried steak. I was surprised to find that I really like it, it didn't really taste like chicken at all. Sevren and I had been offered it before, but I'd always been too wary to try it.
Then I saw a black-haired boy enter the dining room that Lila had gone into. Was he looking at me?

Lila got up when she was finished and left the plate on the table. For the maids would get it as soon as she walk away. She went up to the black haired boy nd said"Prince Neon.. How do you do? Your reports on your schooling?" Lila could tell that he was goo eyeing the girl and she did not like that on bit. Last thing she needed to happen was the island girl to fall in love with the prince and get him married...It annoyed her one bit.
The Cardinal maids quickly came back one toke the plate away and the others whiped down the table. One went over to Neon and asked with a small bow"Prince do you want anything?"
Lila ignored the maid and continued"Neon this is The girl everyone has been creating rumors about. The little Robin that acts like a snake. She is going to be under my firm training for the next month after that She'll be official member of which program of her chioce.."

"Oh....really now...then you would not mind me taking her to this years dance after she has becomed a member?" Neon knew the answer to that, since his aunt was Queen until he has found a proper mate, she would probable say No......unless he did some training with this young Robin....Yes that was the answer! Pulse, a Robin was consider a high position even if they where born on some stupid island!
"Maid bring that young lady over their, to this table. Aunt since she is to become a member her first lession should be "Table Manners"" He know that his aunt could not say no in front of her maids for they would send gossip through the whole castle!

One of the maids quickly walked over to me after talking to the boy and told me to follow her. Warily, I stood and followed her, leaving my half-eaten plate of food behind. THe maid was leading me over to Lila and the new boy that had just walked in.
When I got there, I felt that familiar shyness consume me, and I knew that I was more than likely going to crawl back into my shell. THis scared me a little, because there was no Sevren here to pull me out. I threw a hard look at Lila, but made no eye-contact at all with the boy. I almost thought I should say something as a greeting, but I couldn't find my voice. Oh, I wish Sevren or Azen were here...

Lila gave her a dirty look and walked away. She did not like this.. But yet she had no right to cause trouble for she was supposely the nicest queen. It would make her look susicpicious of saying no.. She thought for a second as the girl came closer and closer. She saw the shyness in her eyes and nearly dropped her mouth. She actually liked her stupid niece! This is not good not one bit.. She need both of them and yet wanted both to stay away. Wile at the same time she wanted to say yes not to look susicipious. She had to think evil and crafty.. Craft she must think crafty.. SO sh replyed"It is not up to...oo me Neon.. It is up to the girl."

"As you wish your Majesty."Neon tried to steal a look from the girl, but just as he tried a maid came in to tell Neon that the Rolay Seamstress was here to get his size for his outfit at the Rolay Ball.
"Please excuse,"My Lady", I am off to get fitted."The Queen nodded with her head and I toke off.

Neon? Up to me? 'Off to get fitted'? Couldn't these people put on clothes by themselves? "Who was that?" I said unexpectedly when the boy Neon was out of earshot and immdeately covered my mouth. There I go again, talking without thinking. Well, it was Sevren's fault really, he was the one who taught me that.
I threw a nervous glace at at Lila, hoping she wouldn't reprimand me, and giving me a good excuse from being caught looking at the boy in case he turned around. These people were so weird. I could never imagine Azen or Hali acting like Lila did.

Lila just shook her head rolling her eyes"You should know.. That was Prince Neon my stupid Nephew.. Apperently he has a liking to you. DOn't let him.. You are not royalty.. You are a Robin from an Island who is going to learn from me starting tomorrow. As for that dance it is for the birds around here..Also think before talking.." After she said that she walked off like a normal Queen giving her people advice. her body formed pretty parrot blue wing out. She walked around like it was normal to show off your wings.. A few people coied what she did..

Oh so he was a prince? Well, I guess I'd better keep my distance from him then. THat's one royal mess I simply did not want to be involved in. Besides, I had every intention of returning home anyway. She didn't need to be so coarse with my origin though.
I was a little saddened at hearing I wouldn't be allowed to dance. Ever since Sevren first taught me I'd loved it. But, it was probably just as well that I didn't go. Who knows what could happen at a gathering like that.
I thought about returning to my food, but after Neon I had just lost my appetite. I was really glad that Lila started acting like a normal queen should (at least like how Azen and Hali acted), and I figured I'd better leave the court. One of the maids from before was standing nearby, and I tried to be as curtious as I could without acting too shy. "Um, excuse me...I wonder if Li-, I mean, if the queen as arranged a place for me to stay?" I thought she might send me a disgusted glance or something, but her face remained void of expression as she led me out of the dining area.
