"Hey wait...wait a second!" I caught the girl before she could run off. "Are you all right? do you at least want some help cleaning up?" Glass was everywhere, and the girl's hands looked a tad delicate to pick up those wicked shards.
I knelt down, careful to avoid the broken glass as I carefully picked up the larger pieces. This girl seemed almost afraid of me, and I couldn't figure out why.Did I do something to her? Of course, most of the girls in here looked remotely the same, so I couldn't be sure. "I'm Elsie...are you sure you're okay?"
//You could have Lila walk in and take her to training or something...//

The girl nodded thanks and after everything was picked up scurried away. For she was late already to breakfeast. THe maids are never meant to be late.
Lila walked in the scene and asked "Elsie what happened? Did that one maid what was her name.... Dang forgot ran in to you?" She noted every maid and what they were doing. She had the one with the clumsiness pictured from when she tripped and dropped coffe on her. Hot coffee.. Lila punished her but nothing seemed to work. Sooner or later that one would have to be done with. She was dropping, Burning, and breaking everything. Lila had heard she was good at art which was impossible to believe since she was so clumsy and could drop a whole bottle of water on the paper. Lila was thinking of kicking the girl out of the castle till she came back more prepared with balance. Once in a while Lila had thought the girl would need to learn a lesson on balance but her stupid daughter defended the girl. So it never worked.

I watched the girl scurry away and then looked up at Lil with a look that was somewhere between anger and reluctant compliance. I wasn't sure what to say to her, for I was afraid that anything that came out of my mouth would land me in some prison cell. But sitting here doing nothing was making me feel like an idiot. I wondered if that parrot-lion girl from before really was her daughter. She seemed to...immature to be related to Lila. Finally I turned my head to the side a little and tried not to glare. "Did you need something?" I said as carefully as I could manage.

Lila simply answered with the normal high priority voice."Yes, I will want to point out that breakfeast starts now and soon as your done follow me to the trainning grounds. To where you sha'll train." With that Lila headed toward the dinning room. To where maids mostly cardinals ran around. ONe bird a Large fat Blue feathered human with a tail sticking out as though half formed was yelling at the girl that just tumbled and scattered pieces of glass. She had red feathers in her back neck sticking up for she was having a bad day. First she ran into the new comer and broke every dish now she was getting gripped at for tripping and scattering the glass making them even harder to clean up..

I followed behind Lila (more than a little annoyed; clearly this woman didn't wait for anybody) and took in the dining room once again. Immediately my attention was drawn to the large bird who was yelling at the girl from before. He looked pretty scary, but I couldn't ignore it so without thinking (again) I rushed over.
"Um..excuse me sir..." He was even scarier up close. He was big enough that he really could hurt me. Um...is there a problem here?" I tried to stop my voice from shaking.

The man faced the brave girl and answered gumpily"Miss Clumsy over here tripped and dropped every piece of glass some went into the food. I swear one of these days I am going to make shore Lila fires her or something.. For this girl is always causing trouble. Especially for my food and dishes. Look at that!." He pointed his fat finger over at all the plate with glass. They where very shiny due to the glass. He began to walk a way to prepare the food again grummbling about the time of the coffee promblem..
The girl stood still face red of emberassment. she didn't mean to cause trouble it just followed. she completely forgot about the glas every where. for she was just standing there froze up in emberassment.
Lila sat down at a near by table and said softly"Elsie come over here to order." As soon as she said that a young robin maid ran up ready to take order. It had something to do with being a queen for they run fast. Whoever gets to her first knows that they'll have to be ready at all times.

Lila's order was soft, but threatening enough for me to follow. I smiled at the young cardinal girl warmly then turned and walked slowly over to where Lila was sitting. I blanched as a young girl quickly came over as if Lila had rung a bell or something. What really got to me was...the girl was a robin. I recognized a few of our similarities in her face and form. I was surprised at the anger that boiled up inside me. But dang it, I was NOT going to stick around here if I was going to end up as a maid!

Lila said " Can you get me a Fry worm and possibly a few sunflower seeds. Also watermelon lemonade. I feel this is going to be a fun day."
The girl nodded happy that the queen was being nice today for obvisouly she must be looking forward something to do. When she finished writing it all down she faced the Island girl and asked softly "What do you want hun?" WHile Lila sat there for her to order she twidled with her fork wishing she had the ability to break it easily. Or possibly turning it to dust. SHe couldn't wait to get Elsie on training. For she just might be the right strong robin.

"Um...can I just have some bananas?" I normally didn't eat this early on the island; right now I'd probably be taking dancing lessons from Sevren. I'd never had to work hard enough to need anything more to eat, but from Lila's gleeful demeanor, maybe today I would. "Maybe a couple of them?" I asked, my voice small. Darn it! Where was that canfidence I'd had with a snake's attitude?
I looked over at Lila and let my anger course through me. If she wanted a nice, patient, respectful little bird, I wasn't going to give that to her.l I thought of how all the people in the nest might have reacted to this situation, and let that be my focus. I tried to keep my face blank, though. I also very much didn't want to be killed. "So what kind of training are you going to put me through?" I asked I said, not snappily, but arrogantly, like how Lila talked to everyone around here. "And where did Neon go?" (//seriously, where the crap is he?//) For some reason that boy kept popping up in my head.....

Lila shot Elsie a look when she asked for bannas but siled afterward for she thought. Well at least she is intellegant birdy. She nodded to the maid who began to walk away. She was repeating over and over in her head to bring Lila's drink. Lila said softly but surely"FIrst we sha'll see what you are able to do. Afterward we will train your weak points. It should be simple unless your like that maid." He eye lashes pointed the direction of the young Cardinal Maid that was just getting done with picking up glass. A thought occured to Lila maybe she hsould get the clumsy maid to give glass to neon. But that would be stupid she was suppose to be the good guy here. Well for now. Lila began to thik of her duaghter's trianing. It was very simple to her at least, her daughter failed being evil due to her childiness. But they could be snatched. As for her duaghter's twin brother he was perfect to rule both castle's.
About two min later....
Lila decided to soften Elsie abit. So she said softly and almost innocently."Elsie.. I am sorry about taking you from your home by force. It is just you have so much to gain but you'll be nothing but a Criminal outlaw there. That is why te place is called "Outcast Island." I heard about you from the near by thropods and decided to find you and take you as my apprentice or train you to be a wonderful adventure or warrior. Listen I am sorry." Lila let her eyes drop she gazed down at the new placed watermelon lemonade. The Maid was not shocked for every bird in the kingdom believed that the Queen was the nicest and sweetest. But the Imperial members new better. As for the King they think he acts like what every king should. But the fact he cheats on the Queen.

I didn't like her picking on that maid again, but I let her comment on the matter pass. It seemed I had bigger things to worry about anyway. "So...my weaknesses and abilities in what? IF it's fighting, you can forget it, I've never fought anyone before in my life. Dancing, though, is more my speed." I was getting braver and braver the more I was around Lila. Or maybe I was just turning into her. Ugh, not a good thought.
THe soft words Lila spoke scared me more than her fight with A-....no, I couldn't think his name. Too hard. But I'd seen enough of that side of her to know that I didn't want to trust her. I just wanted to do whatever I had to so I could get home. Maybe I would do so badly on these "tests" of Lila's that she would just send me off. But, maybe if I didn't do well, she'd keep here longer, and maybe even make me a servant or something. I just looked over at Lila morosely and quickly brought my gaze back to my food.

The Robin Maid came back with some food that they ordered. SHe walekd away again as Lila picked up her fork and began to take a bit. When she was down chewing the one bite she answered" Dancing is good. For it is wonderful on Balance and defence. Maybe that is your strength speed and defence. Which is both good for an murder on kings. But I'm pretty sure you don't want to be a murder. So instead I am training you to be adventurer or a warrior. Or maybe even invite you to the secret society... Which you'll find out later.."
Lila calmly started eating and drinking her Watermelon Lemonade. She occasionally toyed with her food with thoughts and worries. Which the QUeen tries to hide.

THe more I heard Lisa talk, the more I was sure I didn't want anything she was offering. I blanched when she mentioned murder, and even when she revoked it the thought still made me uneasy. Adventurer did sound a little interesting, but adventures themselves were never fun unless I had Sevren with me. Warrior was out in my mind immediately, ; from what I had heard around the island, warriors were just another name for soldiers.
I didn't want to speak again, for Lila looked deep in thought as she ate. But I didn't know how to tell her that she had the wrong robin. What could she possibly gain by having me, specifically? Answer me one thing then, Lila. Why me? THere are tons of other birds out there; better, ones, like hawks and eagles. Why did you recruit me?"

Lila turned to her and smiled. "Because you are form the outcast Island. I mean think about it, You have scene more from the outcast then me as queen of two Castle's. Anyway I heard you were different. And. I like different." With that said Lila toke her last bite. Then she faced Elsie and replied "Elsie hurry up.." She started to gulp down her water..
Bella the Maid who is always clumsy. Walked into the dishes room and faced her boss. He still looked mad he started to say calmly. " Bella, I would fire you right now if it wasn't for your family saying they'll quit if I do. I need you to start only cleaning tables from now on. One more mess up and I swear the QUeen would be the first to know. " Bella nodded her eyes shadowed... She grabed a rag and went toward the breakfeast tables and started to clean them one by one... She decided to wait until the Queen leaves to clean the important things. So instead she started to clean the Queen's table.. Real bright...
Lila faced her with daring eyes she said like a dangerious falcon. "Cardinal Maid.. You get near my food you will be outcasted form this castle and land.."
Bella wasn't listening she was almost in tears and got near the Queen's food..
With that done Lila shot up and said her voice poisoned." Maid! I warned you... You from now on be outcasted amoung our people! First my coffee.. Then my dishes on my bed and now this after a warnning!"
Bella noticed and quickly backed off full of fear.. For now she had done it..
Lila pointed the direction of the door she was standing up breathing heavely.
Bella nooded and began to walk off tears coming slowly for now she lost her only home and job... She transformed into a lovely cardinal and toke flight apron came off like her tears falling. She went passed the airpressure.. And off to another land not caring..

I gave Lila a grimace but quickly finished her last bites of my banana. I guess I was right before when I said this wasn't a lady who waited for anybody. THe words she said disconcerted me. Why would an inland queen want to know so much about outcasts, or Outcast Island? If she wanted information, or if she wanted different, she should have just kidnapped A-....Azen. Maybe after fighting him she decided he wasn't worth the trouble.
I shuddered after Lila finished yelling at that one maid. I really envied her, I'd love to be rid of this place. Still, I felt bad that Lila had hurt her. Hopefully Hali would find her; she had a habit of finding people in need of help. I almost decided to follow her but......
I shook my head and let determination flow through me. I stalked after Lila, a hard look set on my face. I was going to show her that I wasn't afraid, and I really hoped that I would be facing her in this 'training.' I was ready to give her a piece of my mind.
