Nevermore glanced around at the large houses that towered over him. Each and everyone of them was like a small castle filled with its own set of laborers. He bit his bottom lip as he looked away from the small castles and glanced towards the largest. The castle of the Queen. He thought as he looked over the large behemoth that housed the royalty of the Bird Kingdom. Nevermore had only seen the castle once and that was when he was a very young chick. His father had received an award for his services in a battle that Nevermore had forgotten the details of. The Queen herself had presented him with the award.
He let out a sigh as he shoved the idea from his mind. He glanced towards the setting sun and then back at the castle. Nevermore had come here for a reason besdies sight seeing. Today he was going to try and break into the castle and obtain whatever gold he could. He bit his bottom lip again as he hoped that his power over ice would surprise the guards that he enconutered long enough for him to get away. He stopped at the main gate and then glanced around wondering how he could possibly get in.

The Queen a normal sized woman, had a blue desert cover. she wore under it few weapons at her own castle due to her having to be the nice queen rather than evil. She had her few weapons covered with her silky cape cloth. Her inside was not very lady like in fact, it looked more like a bathing suite than anything. She had a top of long sleeves all the same color as her hair and feathers when she transformed. Light blue, She had a crown of silver not really caring for the gold colors. She had blue jewels within it and on diamond in the middle. Her hair about 1foot long hung down it was about 6inches wide, was swaying back and forth, She walked through the corridor enjoying herself. She had gotten a new dagger that was gold and jeweled she had it tucked away next to her saber. Of course she had seen her husband and was happy to see him again. She was of course a bit upset that her daughter had gone missing after her studies. So she flew here with two guards to see if she came here. She said in a canning voice"Are you sure she isn't here? check again! Were else could she have gone. I want my daughter here now. As a mother I shot for worry." She of course didn't really care. There was another place she haven't thought to look the Imperial kingdom, but Queen Lila knew better.

Nevermore circled the castle once before finding a small opening that was to large for most of the soldier brids. It appeared to be nothing more than a small hole about halfway up the castle but the theif knew that even the smallest crack in a homes defense could be used against it. He cracked his neck as his body shrank and in place of the boy stood a larger than average crow, thankfully he wasn't to large to fit through the hole. He flew up towards the it and then wrigled his way into the hole and quickly made his way through it. After making it through almost a two feet of stone he finally came to a white piece of paper. Someone had moved a picture infront of the hole in an attempt to hide it. Nevermore pecked at the paper and made a large enough hole from him to stick his head through.
He noticed two of them were soldiers while the other was a woman. He stared at her for a moment and then lifted his wing to his beak to stop himself from cawing out loud. Its the Queen. He thought as he backed up into the hole so he wouldn't be seen. What should I do? He asked himself before standing straight up. He slammed his head against the stone and then let out a quiet "Caw!"

Lila pointed at the guards to leave her. She had raging eyes so they quickly turned to other way. After that she walked smoothly down the corridor fiddling with her water Element to clam down. For she was in the Bird Kingdom not the Mammal nor the Imperial. She was suppose to be the nice Queen. How else was she to keep her spot? She had to kill to get it she was now willing to kill to keep it. Her Element transformed into a small bird then into an orb again not coming alive. After a few minutes of water controlling and walking she stopped let it fade away. She then looked at a painting of the garden outside and notice there was a rip.

Nevermore let out a small gasp as he saw the queen looking at him through the picture. He turned to run but tripped while he was in the small stone. His legs became tangled and his wings were pinned to his side as he tried to wriggle free. I don't think I should've left. He thought to himself as he continued to try and wiggle. He soon became frustrated and let out a loud "Caw!" A word he often used when ever he became frustrated or hurt.

Lila grinned and said in a voice of a demon."You know sneaking and entering is against the laws.." With that said she walked away happy with her new discovery. She was a sly one and she knew she was. Carefully she walked toward her room and walked slower and slower every 3 seconds. Her coat flung with the wind it caught and flung open to show her weapons but soon stopped and covered them back up.

Nevermore shuddered. He backed up and then turned back towards the shreaded picture. For some strange reason he wasn't able to make his way out of the hole. He looked towards the picture and sighed as he realized he could only go forward. He walked forwards and then hopped through the rear making it much larger. He didn't bother to see what the picture was as he walked down the hall after the Queen. Right now all he wanted to do was to explore and he chose to follow after the queen hoping that he would be able to find something. After all she did notice him and didn't catch so she couldn't be that bad right. He quickly changed his mind as he saw her cloak fly open and reveal an assortment of weapons. He gulped as he continued after her staying close to the wall.

Lila reached her room she turned and went in. Slowly she sat on the coach and waited patiently for her new pet. Of course she had a grin of a winner right about now. She had most of her weapons back at the Mammal Kingdom. She feared of what happened if she brought more than two to her Kingdom. Especially after what happened to Elsie who escaped her with the knowledge of her plans. There was a small tank of water on her wooden dresser. In front of the dresser, was a pretty size bed. Her room was huge big enough to put in a hot tub if they had the technology. Her room was decorated in a light pink mixed with light baby blue. Naturally giving people a natural relaxation. Perfect for her to pry on. She had three plants to lighten the room alot more. In her closet was a few dresses and things for special occasions. There was very few expensive trickets being not a very lover for them. She did have some gold under the bed with a nice feather to capture who ever it was scent. So she could track them down and invite them to join her.

Nevermore entered the room before the door close and glanced around. It was very large, probably bigger than the house he used to live in. As he searched around he stayed closer to the wall. He was careful not to knock anything over. Out of the corner of his eye he caught sight of something shiney. His animal instincts drove him towards it but his fear of being discovered kept the black bird plastered to the wall. He stared at the gold as he continued to walk and then colided with the couch.

Lila stared at the small deformed bird boy in front of him. He was in his demi-form apparently either a crow or a raven. She wondered which one, for all she knew he might have been a completely different bird. She remembered there was many different kinds of birds in the kingdom. With a sigh she moved to the other side a bit and said in a motherly voice."Hello.. Welcome to my little home. I see you like shiny things. Interesting.. Would you prefer if I simply give you gold then you steal it? I really do not care for it.." She spoke with a whisper of sweetness in the end. It could've made anyone in there right mind tremble. Her eyes were not fierce anymore or raged for that. In fact they were the eyes of a nice innocent elder women. She was a good player a very good sly one.

The small raven stared at the woman who was the Queen. He nodded slowly as he looked at her. He wondered if he should change into his human form but decided against it. If he changed and she wanted to capture him she would know what he really looked like. He cursed his inability to talk in animal form but found that it had its uses. He flapped his wings a few times and then flew up onto the arm of the couch so he could look up at the Queen.

The Queen blinked twice and smoothly replied"Are you unable to talk in your form? It is alright I mean, your a thief of course you'll want to hide your Identity. But I do know of course everyone can talk in there animal form along with human. It is apart of nature unless of course your the kind to refuse to be human. Be sides there is lots of umm black birds." She gave a slight laugh. She transformed into a bright blue Parrot with complete ease. She waited calmly for the Demi-formed boy to transform maybe to get an idea what he looked like in animal form.

Nevermore looked at the woman for a moment and then sighed before changing into his full animal form and looking over at the Queen. While he was filthy and covered in dark feathers she was the opposite. She was well kempt and her feathers were blue and a few other colors. The raven looked over at the queen and then he opened up his mouth to speak. "Hello." Was all he said as he looked at her.

The Queen toke in a deep breathe and started to talk."Okay So why are you here anyway? You could be a spy and I am just curious.. Of course I'll know..." She stopped not wanting to go on. Honestly she couldn't think of what to say without giving anything to say. She was curious of this was truth but not because he might be a spy. Because he was attracted to gold meaning she could easily have power over him if she wanted to. Even though there was something not right about him.. Like this hidden secret so she decided to wait for her pet to give her the answer she wanted.

"I'm here for some gold thats it." He said as he held his wings firmly to his side. It was slightly unnerving that she was larger than him in their animal form. "If you must know I'm not a spy I'm a theif." He said as he nestled down against the arm of the couch. Nevermore wasn't the greedy type of person. All he wanted gold for was to be able to buy food and be able to live with out fear of starving. The sun was still setting as they spoke and night would soon flood the streets of the bird kingdom. Once that happened Nevermore would fall asleep and then the other one would take over.
