Lila gave a grin to her beak. Then spoke in a cooing voice of an Dove."What if I gave you an offer? You can live here in the palace tree with me. Or do you want to keep stealing risking Treason? All you have to do is help me. For I am in need of someone with your talents." talents? He messed up.. Then again.. I could ask.[/i][/color] she shifted slightly then hunched her legs. She jumped off the couch and flew to the shelf. She went through and through till she found a simple item. It was a small piece of Parchment it was very mall. She curled it with her claw flew off the dresser landed back onto the couch. Then waited for the reply of the raven.

Nevermore's eyes widened at the thought of being banished for treason. "My only talent is stealing." He said as he he watched the blue parrot fly around the room and then return with a piece of parchment. He watched as she flew back with it clutched in her claw. He wondered what it was but soon looked away from it. The idea of living in the palace was a strange one but could he really pass up an offer like that?

When Lila realized he had nothing to say. She saw that he looked away, with a sigh she toke flight again. This time she headed under her bed and got two gold coins. For that is was all she could carry. She flew back dropping the coins in front of the thief. Then she landed in front of him. She made a grumble noise. She said softly"Alright fine.. Just coins when you can live in the palace. Just listen to me not just this palace but one of the Hidden Kingdoms. One most people do not know about.Of course the only royalty who did not know of the Hidden Kingdoms is the Snakes. For overtime we speak of it and pass it down. Now the option is in front of you. You would make a great Assassin and a wonderful Ranger. Your sneaky, hidden and your body is well built for certain things. On top of this there is something about you that I like. You can leave now and never come back with this parchment. Which is by the way the map of a different life. Or you can stay here and be threaten with treason your choice. For I doubt the Queen would like the idea of a thief entering her home." She ruffled her feathers afterward and waited her blue feathers shining in the light. Lila knew something about this person was knew intriguing. Different and very interesting she could use him for the Imperial Kingdom.

Nevermore watched as the Queen came back and dropped two gold coins down in front of her. He stared at them as he tried to guess what he could but with those two coins. So far all he had stolen were copper pieces and once in awhile a silver piece. The silver piece he had stolen had fed him for a month. He then lookd towards the map. He could chose the path of the assassin and be a killer for hire. As a child he had dreamed of being a soldier for this woman and now here she was offering him a chance to be more than a soldier. He closed his eyes as he tried to make his choice. A few moments passed and then finally his silver eyes opened. In that small amount of time he had made up his mind.
"I'll be your assassin." He said as he looked at the queen. In the back of his mind he felt a portion of him become wracked with excitment at the idea of killing for living but right now he wasn't sure how he felt. The young boy had never killed a man before... No that wasn't true... This boy had killed an entire village before.

Queen Lila nodded and went to floor and quickly transformed back to her old self. She let her hair fall and didn't bother to fix her coat so her two weapons showed. Luckily she only brought those two or else she would've scared this guy out of his wits. She raised her hand half-way to his eyes offering him up. She thought of the first task she'll have to do. First she'll have to train him to be her persona guard better than her own personal lover. Due to his loving on her she is not so sure about him anymore. This one was new fresh and she'll personally train him. Although much much more carefully than she did with Elsie. For she had betrayed her the first time. So this time she will not have anyone else train him only her and her alone. So then she could teach him how to beat someone with an element and to use it against them.

Nevermore looked at her and then exhaled deeply as he hoped onto her hand. He stood there in his ruffled feathers covered in dirt. He looked at the Queen his silver eyes looking over her. She had not changed much since she had last seen her when he was a boy. He wondered if the Queen was able to use an element and then wondered if she knew about his. "What would you have me do?" He asked as he sat perched on her hand knowing now his future belonged to her moods. He didn't enjoy that part to much but he knew it was better than any other option he would recieve in this word.

Lila answered in a almost happy mood. "I am going to train you. That's the first step next you'll find out when the time comes. Now I am going to take you to your bedroom.. What you say to that?" Lila had to be real careful with this one. At least he decided to join, plus if he tried to run away. she could always find him quickly. As for Elsie she flew off during training, the idiots Lila inquired didn't even catch her. They were a bunch of boo-zoos. Lila walked into the corridor and headed down it toward the other rooms. Deciding to give him the average room rather large or small.

Nevermore looked at the Queen and then nodded as she informed him that she was going to train him. It was a strange thought that he would be trained by the Queen herself and he wondered how it would occur. For awhile he imagined it might actually be a fun experience but then when he remembered all of the weapons she hid on her person he quickly shoved the thought from his mind. It was then that he realized the the training would most likely be brutal and he wondered what the Queen would have to learn about him. "I'd like that." Nevermore said as he remained perched on her hand. He would've liked to change into him human form but he decided to wait untill he made it to his new room.

Lila opened a door on her left. Unlike the Mammal Kingdom, the Bird kingdom had doors to each room. She went in and faced the room it was about average size for a room. It had a plain white covered bed and a dresser that was wooden with cheery tree on the left side wall. Then there was a window behind the bed which was in the exact middle leaning against the window. Lila said in a calm normal voice"Here is your room. YOu may change it and decorated on how you want. This was not decorated due to being an extra; extra room." With that said she put her hand next to the bed frame for the Raven to jump off.

Once the Queen had lowered Nevermore onto the bed he jumped off of her hand and landed with a soft thud. He turned to face hr and then sighed before his body began to grow larger and eventually the boy sat, with his legs hanging off the side of the bed, in his human form. "Thank you." He said again as he looked over the Queen. He sat there in his torn dirty clothes as he looked up at Lila. Now that he was in his human form she was not as intimidating as before. He was a bit taller than her which suited him just fine and for all he knew he was the only one in this room with an elemental power. "Um.... your majesty," He said refering to Lila as royalty for the first time to day, "When will my trainning begin?" He asked as he looked up at her throught the same silver eyes he had as a crow.

Lila looked straight into his eyes not noticing the courtesy,"You train in three days till then get clean up and explore I have to do a few things.. Due to one of the Princes going missing and on top of that my Daughter seemed to have ran away. Which I hope to find her soon. So there you go. Have a nice rest and Good-bye." With all that said she shut the door slowly behind her as she left the boy in the tattered clothing. Part of her was positive now at her idea. She of course still worried about the girl Elsie who had escaped back home with all the knowledge of her plans. Right back to Outcast Island. She knew she could kill the girl. But instead Lila decided to wait and have the perfect moment. For now she put the girl off as she headed down the corridor to find her blasted daughter. That would be the first boys mission finding her darn daughter.

Once Lila left Nevermore looked over the room and decided that he would eventually get around to decorating in a few days. He walked over to the dresser an found a pair of white pajama clothes and a few sheets and blankets for the bed. He changed out of his raggedy clothes and walked toward the bathroom. He took a quick shower and after drying off he pulled on the pajamas and walked over toward his bed. The sun had set and Nevermore was beginning to fall asleep he made his way over to the bed and crawled under the blankets and once his head hit the pillow the other Nevermore worked his magic from within the boy's mind.
Eventually the lighter side of the child was pulled into world of nightmares. Nevermore's eyes flew open and he sat up on his bed. He was aware of everything that happened and then grinned. In his mind this was the best way for him to achieve his goal. "Maybe it won't be so bad living here." He said his voice no longer as soft as it was earlier and it sound much harsher, as if he was angry about everything. He stood up stretched as a dark pair of clothes materialized over his body. The clothes he had been wearing earlier were now laying, folded on the bed.
He know wore a tight black shirt and a heavy jacket with multiple chains wrapped around the arms. His pants resembled black blue jeans and they were held up by another dark chain. These clothes made of darkness were what Nevermore wore at night when ever he didn't want to mess up what the other side of him wore. "Wonder what she'll want me to do first." He asked himself as he walked over to the door and pulled it open ready to explore the castle, just as he was ordered.
