[Midnight]

Kae sat at the border of the desert, looking up at the sky. Her shock-violet hair was flowing around her. The stripes on her face shone white in the early morning light. She tucked a strand of loose hair behind her ear and stood up. She turned her head back to the castle. When she looked back out at the desert, her face had black tear-lines streaking off her eyes. Her skin was now tan and furry. She had a long, fluffy tail. Spots covered her body. The only obvious part that showed who she was were black paws where her gloves had been. Kae took off running into the desert.

What most didn't know was that Kae could run forever on the wings of lightning. She never tired and was always hyper...unless she was alone. Then it felt like the weight of the world was on her shoulders. So she ran. Ran as if it would save her life. Se slowed down when she came to a tall dune. She walked up on it and surveyed the area.

[Ginger]

Queen Lila flew overhead her shadow looking small.. She saw Kae and started to descend toward her.. The Queen had some things on her mind. So she decided to talk to Kae about most of them.. For she really didn't know why.. She guessed since Kae was so close to voren on the time she felt she should get close to Kae to learn something.. Maybe even speak about the Imperial.. Lila trusted everyne within her kingdoms except the people she attacked or killed for.. Which never seem to work out.. She didn't trust her own daughter due to her terrible actions. The Jinna girl was just horrible but wonderfully powerful. Which is why she wants the girl to fall in love with her best weapon. Not her water but her sexy love weapon.. The guy who could do it all.. Duke. But she didn't trust him either but he made girls fall for him and the Imperial.

Lila landed on the sand knowing if anyone came along that would want to hurt her she'll almost be defenseless due to her no water in the desert. Maybe she could find an oasis... She sighed and transformed human. Her wardrobe protecting her form the heat. She said shouted toward Kae"KAE! WE NEED TO TALK!"

[Midnight]

[Kae:]

I looked over my tan shoulder. My eyes widened in realization at the person in front of me. Without thinking, I transformed back. I had become much more skilled at transforming in the recent months. Once I was back in my human form, I dropped on my knee. My eyes averted Queen Lila's. "What is it you wish, m'lady?" I asked humbly.

My politeness was a muse. I cared nothing for the queen. I was loyal only to King Voren. Given half a chance, I would kill the queen. But I was a spy after all. I was an expert at acting. No one knew of my secrets. No one ever would.

[Ginger]

Queen Lila faced the girl and she asked[/b]"How has it been? Did you know of when my husband the King come home?"[/b] Lila for some annoying reason waited to pour out her feelings to the girl.. Oddly she didn't know why... Lila almost shed tears by the would dry before anyone would see them. She was really upset.. For the lovely love they had the night before last was over and well she was not Happy.. Especially about it. Plus King Voren did not go straight to her.. She was just so mad about it.. Lila sighed not letting the girl answer any questions until she was done.. "I don't understand.. Why did he ignore me? Also why would we not combine the kingdoms territory and welcome them to the Imperial kingdom. so then they'll have millions of members. Plus it wasn't like the Empire did not know they existed..." A tear fell but quickly vanished. Her throat was dry and sore..

[Midnight]

[Kae:]

I was taken aback by the Queen's first questions. "I've been fine m'lady. And yes, I was with King Voren when he returned. I escorted him from the Imperial Castle the the Mammal Kingdom. After that, we parted ways and I went on about my duties," I said.

Her next questions were even more confusing than the first. After a while, she seemed to be directingher questions more to herself than to me. So I just answered her questions. "Queen Lila, combining the kingdoms wouldn't be wise at all. If we combined the kingdoms, it would lead a full rebellion for the Empire. They would try to combine the rest and overthrow everything the Great Imperial has worked so hard to achieve." My eyes were ablaze at the thought of the goody Empire defeating us. "Why are you asking so much of me anyway, if I may ask?"

[Ginger]

Lila faced her confused by her own questions. Amazingly she answered calmly"I do not know.." For she expected to be shaken up and lost of voice. She decided that maybe the fact Vorn had not go straight to her bugged her. Also the fact she was the last to find out when she herself was Queen.. She nearly growled at the thought. With a sigh she slopped to the overgrown sandy desert. She said softly the heat rising making her dizzy. Most would think she was going crazy right about now.."I guess I am upset because I was the last to find out... It don't matter.." Tears suddenly fell and she said with pathetic"Why? Why did we fall? Why do we have such few Elementals? Why am I crying?"

Her tears dried super fast smearing all her faced with crusts. Making her look like an outsider.

[Midnight]

[Kae:]

"We fell due to careless mistakes made by me and your other servants. But I will do everything I can to restore you and King Voren to your rightful thrones. the Imperial will rule once more," I vowed. "As for you being the last to find out, I'm sure the king has his reasons. He would not ignore you, m'lady."

[Ginger]

Queen Lila nodded picking herself up. The same evil valiantness and determination returned."You are right. We shall rule over everyone. Including the goody goody Empire." A beak formed when she was done talking her looking more scary. Wings popped out of her back muscles. They glistened with bright Parrot blue. The Siberian cover moved to show a glistening golden weapon that Lila got form her Husband less than 24hr ago.

[Midnight]

[Kae:]

I saw the sheen of the glittering weapon. I searched my memory, trying to remember where I'd seen it before. I vaguely rememberedKing Voren showing it to me when I escorted him home. I didn't remember if he mentioned giving it to Lila. "Where are you off to now, m'lady. I will accompany you if you wished, " I said.

[Ginger]

Queen Lila smiled at her and answered"Back to the Bird kingdom or maybe even Mammal.. Since The King is home. Maybe I could convince him to see the Bird kingdom people to talk to them you know.." At this she flapped once and calmly lifted into the air. The beak had vanished before she spoke. She thought that if Kae wanted to come she could carry her. She said calmly"Kae why not transform into your other shape and I'll carry you back." She was in such a good mood today way to nice for the Imperial Kingdom would've noticed. The others.. They thought she was nice. Why? Nobody really knows.

[Midnight]

[Kae:]

I thought the Queen had lost her mind. She'd never offered anything to her servants except a quick death. "No thank you. I wouldn't want to burden you. I'll run," I said, not knowing if I was saying the wrong thing.

[Ginger]

Lila shrugged and fully transform into a parrot. She started of quickly catching up with the girl. She whistled a simple song one her mother sang. It was marvelous and pretty. Lila had always hated it but yet it always seemed to calm her and make her joyful. Plus she could never get the song out of her body. Her feathers raised catching heat that was also rising. She flapped three tie trying to keep an even altitude and still not use energy. For she felt the sun quickly heating her feathers.

[Midnight]

[Kae:]

I looked up to where Queen Lila had taken flight. Not wasting any time, I transformed back into a cheetah. My tail slapping my side, I took off after th Queen. I could here her sweet song from my spot below her. It made even my cold heart relax and feel peaceful.
