Animal:
(The pic pretty much shows you)
Ishati in her lizard from is still not very large, but it’s only because she is still a child. Just like in her human form her lizard form has one red and one blue eye.
History:
Ishati was born into a life of hunger and lack of money. Her mother and father were apart of the lower class citizens in the kingdom, which meant living in a very small one room hovel in the slums of the city around the castle. It wasn’t a very good place to be when you did something that wasn’t appreciated and didn’t make you much money. Ishati’s father, Perot, was a potter and it didn’t make much money. Even though his work was very beautiful not very many bought from him. Her mother, Emiai, made and embroidered clothes with the most beautiful designs. Yet, just like her husband, no one would buy it.
When Ishati was five she use to play with some of the other children in the stone streets of the market. They use to kick rock around and play with the sand, they never got toys since they were expensive. The closest thing Ishati got to a toy was a rag doll that her mother made for her. The doll didn’t have anything special about it, it was just made up of left over cloth that her mother had from some of her clothes. Enough though the doll didn’t look like anyone or anything Ishati treasured it the most out of all of her little things she had found. One time when she was ten, she was out in the market exploring she found a small leather bag on the ground. When she opened it she found over ten gold and silver pieces inside. She was in shock at what she saw, she had never seen that much money in her entire life. Suddenly something happened to her, her eyes glowed faintly and she saw someone’s face, a woman’s face. Then the imaged faded and it flashed to that same woman walking into a building. She had seen the building before, but not her. Then the image faded. Ishati dropped the bag in fear and shock. She didn’t know what had just happened.
She very carefully picked the bag, afraid what had happened earlier would happen again. She was about to head home, before the image of the woman flashed in her head. She stopped dead in her tracks and looked down at the pouch. She started to feel a little guilty, the money would have been enough to feed her and her parents for a month or so, but she knew that this money belonged to someone else. After a moment of thought she went out to look for the building the woman had walked into. She remembered ever little detail of the building since she couldn’t get her out of her head. She made her way through the mazes of sand stone houses, she didn’t even notice that she was starting to head into the rich part of the city. This was the part of the city where rich men and women lived, they had nice clothing, and lots of food. When Ishati finally found the building she very slowly walked up to the wooden door and lightly knocked, praying they wouldn’t answer. Sure enough they did answer.
The woman gave Ishati a rather strange look before asking why she was there. Ishati didn’t even say anything and held out the little leather bag. The woman took the bag and stared at Ishati in surprise. “Where did you find this? How did you even find me?” The woman asked in shock, she knelt down to get a better look at her. “I-I uh…w-when when I touched your bag…I-I saw your face and house.” She said softly. She flinched slightly thinking the woman would laugh at what she said, but it was silent. Ishati looked over at the woman and saw her staring at Ishati in awe. Out of embarrassment Ishati ran off into the streets again. The woman called to her to stop, but she just continued to run. Once she got home she ran into her house and hid in her little sack of a bed. She covered her face with her little rag doll, trying to forget what had just happened.
Ever since that moment in the market with the little bag more a more of these visions came to her as she grew older. She started telling people about the things she saw and they all though she was crazy. Perot and Emiai did not know what to do with their daughter, was she sick? Did she need medicine to stop these strange images from coming? They couldn’t understand why she was acting like this.
When Ishati was 11 some of her friends became very ill, no one knew what was wrong with her. It was very common for children in that side of town to get sick, since there was nothing to eat and their living conditions were poor. Ishati went to go see her and when she touched them see saw into their past. She saw that they had eaten something that could have been very serious, but it was treatable. She quickly told their parents what she saw, but they didn’t believe her. A few weeks later her friend died from the poison front the plant they ate. When the doctor told them what they had died from they couldn’t believe that what Ishati said was true. After her friends death her parents started to believe her as well. When Ishati knew that people started to believe in what she saw, she went to help those in need. Ishati helped from the poor all the way up to the rich, taking charity and money. She was given new clothes, money, jewelry, food, and more. All of these she shared with her parents and the people in the slums.
It was only a little time before they got a house in the nicer side of town. Ishati continued to tell the future and the past to those who wish for her insight. Her father’s pottery started to sell for better prices and her mothers clothing was being bought by some rich people. Ishati couldn’t help but feel that she had made a difference. After a few more months they got an even bigger house and it was on the rich side of town. It was a large sand stone building with many windows, and a small desert garden around it outside. This was all that Ishati had ever dreamed of. Even though she and her family moved away from the people they knew and cared for the most Ishati continued to visit them frequently, bringing money, clothes, food, and pottery. When she would do this people cried and hugged her. Some even tried to give her items for thanking her, but she would refuse them. To them she was a saint.
Now that she is 13 she's noticed strangers be following her, had they heard about her power? Did they want her money? She may have been able to see into the future, but there was no way to tell her own fate.
((I made this charrie out of boredom, but if you like her please tell me. ^^))
