Voren remained silent and continued to walk down the stone tunnel. As they walked glowing mushrooms started to appear on the walls. "Ah...it seems we are almost to the exit." He said with a smile as he looked over the glowing mushrooms.

I looked up and nodded. I realized that the cave walls were lighter and I could see the faintest light closer to the end.

Voren watched the end of the long endless tunnel come closer to them. "Well now Kae...have you figured out what it is you want to do when we get to the kingdom?" He asked once again.

Voren frowned slightly when she answered his question. Slowly his face smoothed out. "Well thats a shame..." He brushed some of his deep red hair off his shoulder and continued to look a head.

I growled angrily at myself. As my anger peaked, fur slowly spread across my hands. My eye changed from violet to amber in the blink of an eye. My temper was making me change. I took a deep breath and reversed the changes.

I looked up at him. I didn't know if he was lying, but it was a compliment so I didn't complain. Looking around, I noticed that the air was becoming clearer, lighter. I smiled to myself, glad that I was finaly about to get out of the tunnels.

Voren smiled. "Ah...it appears are short journey has ended my dear." He said softly. He looked over at her with an amused face. A small strand of hair hung in his face and swayed to his movements. His eyes flashed a faint red for a moment as he watched her.

I nodded. I was estatic, almost forgot he was there. I wanted to be out of that cave. I wanted to get back to the safety of my kingdom. The king's eyes were freaking me out, along with his passiveness.

Voren walked out of the cave and looked around at his kingdom. He took in a deep breath and sighed. "Home sweet home." He said softly. He looked back at Kae. "I can get back from here my dear. Now you wont be bored by my silly chit chat." He gazed at the little city below him and smiled slightly. "I must see Leonard and find out what sort of things I missed while I was gone." He said softly.
