What to do...(open)

Darkness filled many of the halls of the great Imperial castle. Nothing seemed to move all but one shadow. A large black tom cat slinked down the empty halls, its claws lightly clicked against the stone floors lightly as it walk. "Ah...what to do, what to do..." Purred a voice from the shadows. The black cat’s tail twitched back and forth as it walked down the halls. It stopped and peeked around some corners it passed and continued to walk. "I do pray her highness will return soon...I really need something to do." The cats amber eyes began to glow their faint golden color in the dark. The large cat walked into a shadow and instead of a cat coming back out from it a truly handsome man walked gracefully from the shadows. His thick black hair was combed over his left eye and his skin was a beautiful cream. The man was wearing black leather pants and a black vest that matched. His bare chest was visible from under the dark leather. A belt with several knives sat on his hits. His well toned muscles formed the leather beautifully. A small black fur pouch was tied to his belt and it jingled slightly as he moved.

This man was Duke one of the top ranking officers for the Imperials, he is also one of the elemental searchers. He put his hands behind his head and continued to walk down the hall. His worn out black leather boot thudded against the floor light as he strode down the hall. “I just pray none of the girls find me…I’m really not in the mood to get fought over.” He chuckled. He had just snuck away from some of the girls in the lower ranks. They all had him cornered and were about to tare him to shreds when he used his element to get away. He used the shadows to transport him to a different part of the castle and here he was now…bored.

The Imperial highness walked down the hallway thinking about how she was going to get Elsie away from Neon long enough to help plan to get them to hate each other. so she'll still have the Bird kingdom under the Imperial rule. She started to mutter under her breath about this and that.."Darn my stupid nephew! darn him falling in Love with a stupid Out caster. Uh! If only he wasn't alive anymore! but I still need him.." She walked right into Duke and out of frustration she shouted"Duke! You lazy tom! get up! I have a job for you!!" She thought that maybe tom could bring the girl's friend to her then maybe just maybe she'll hate Neon. Plus then Lila could kill him and take over the Outcast island as well. "You are to get a friend o this Robin girl named Elsie. His name is...Severen. do not kill him. Instead capture him as a prisoner and bring him back here. he lives on the outcast Island. I except you to have him here before dawn. he'll be happy to know where his best friend is.. So he'll be willing to go.. NOW MOVE IT!" with that she pointed her finger to the near by exit and would watch him go. She expected him not to question for if he does.. it could mean trouble for him.

Duke snapped out of his boredom when her highness and his lady stood before him. He was a little startled but he remained emotionless. "Yes my lady..." He said softly dropping down to one knee. Duke was one of the queens most trusted men and Duke would do anything his King or Queen asked, but the King has been gone for some time now. He held out his hand to her and looked up at her with his deep amber eyes hoping she would place her delicate hand in his so he could once again breath in her sweet perfume that soked her soft skin. No one knew of Duke's desire to have the Queen but he knew as well any any other that the Queen was like a flickering flame. It was beautiful to look at but you were not touch it our you would suffer the price of pain.

She nodded her head for him to go. After which she started to walk off almost stomping. She really did not like this.. But yet the plan wouild work.. Then she got a little devlish. She then started to stalk happily enjoying the castle darkness. She even petted it like it was a pet.

Duke gave a small sigh and slowly stood up after Lila left. How I wish she would be mine... He thought to himself. With a swift turn on his heel he walked into the shadows of the castle to to hunt his new prey.
